Your path through the Graduate Scheme
The Graduate Scheme covers two years (two and a half years for Finance) and includes work experience complemented by an education and development programme. Specialist training is key and, in this first two years, you’ll be supported to achieve a post-graduate academic/professional qualification. Once you have completed the scheme, your career will really begin, with a further two years of career support.

The diagram illustrates trainee work placements on the left, provided by NHS organisations and managers, together with the education and development programme on the right. These have been commissioned from a range of respected academic, professional and personal development providers, coming together for the first time in partnership to provide integrated learning. You’ll find more information about each of these elements here.
The Graduate Scheme is designed to stretch and challenge, enthuse and engage fast track learners ready to lead the way. It prides itself on its “blended learning” approach – structured work placements in parallel with education, development and working towards professional qualifications.
