The Graduate Management Trainee Scheme is a true springboard for a successful career. In fact, three of the last four CEO’s of the NHS have been alumni of the scheme.

Career ladders are all well and good, but they offer limited movement. The NHS can be better compared to a career ‘climbing frame’, with opportunities to move around and across, expanding your skills and knowledge by moving across organisations. For example, you might move from an acute trust to a PCT, then move up, then move across to a different role. The possibilities are virtually endless.
