Salary
Gateway participants’ starting salaries will be circa £50,000, and employing organisations are part-subsidised by the NHS Institute over the first two years.

In future roles, such as an executive director, successful leaders can earn up to £90,000, or upwards of £100,000 as chief executive of an NHS Trust.
